SHA Hosts August RAB Meeting
The Sylacauga Housing Authority was proud to host the August RAB meeting on August 21st. The Resident Advisory Board (RAB) is a group of residents that advises and provides insight to the Sylacauga Housing Authority.
RAB meetings take place on the third Wednesday of each month and Resident Engagement Workshops will take place on every first Wednesday of each month. The next RAB meeting is scheduled for September 18th from 3:30-4:30 pm and the first Resident Engagement Workshop is scheduled for September 4th from 3:30-4:30pm. These meetings take place in the Sylacauga Housing Authority Training Room located at 415 W 8th St. Sylacauga, AL 35150.
At this month’s meeting, attendees learned more about the expectations and duties or RAB officers and the proposed resident engagement calendar. Elections for RAB officers will take place the week before the October RAB meeting (October 7th-11th). Elections for Sylavon Court, Sylavon Towers, and Drew Court will take place on different days. The RAB Election process will be covered in more detail at the September RAB Meeting.
