SHA Hosts Drew Court Cleanup Day

The Sylacauga Housing Authority demonstrated true service as the SHA family came together and participated in a Drew Court Cleanup Day. Organized by our AmeriCorps VISTA staff, it was brought together for the Drew Court area as an initiative to keep the area clean, as well as to promote our motto for a safe environment and providing healthy, safe and sustainable living.

SHA staff and volunteers arrived early Saturday morning along with their families and traveled around the Drew Court community to pick up trash around the area. The staff also spoke to residents about regulations, concerns, and what they’d like to see in future community events.
