SHA Hosts Second Annual Community Easter Egg Hunt

The Sylacauga Housing Authority proudly hosted the second annual Community Easter Egg Hunt this past week. Over 200 people were able to attend and participate in the festivities. There were a variety of activities including face painting, sack races, pictures with the Easter Bunny, and of course a massive egg hunt. Adults enjoyed the delicious food prepared by SHA Staff and the cake walk.

This event would not have been possible without the hard work and dedication of the SHA Staff. Through their collaboration, this event went above and beyond. Their diligence and care ensured that every detail of the day was perfect. Members of the SHA team volunteered in every compacity and donated many of the supplies needed for the event. We are so thankful for the #SHAFamily doing what they do best, serving their community.

We would also like to thank all the businesses and organizations that supported this year’s event. Church of the Highlands generously provided much needed volunteers and Home Depot donated all the materials and stencils to make our beautiful photo cut outs possible. The following companies and organizations generously supported the event through donations: Home Depot, Church of the Highlands, Giddens Plumbing, Vansandt Hardware, NAPA, AirGas, Sylacauga Glass, Payne Pest Control, Sylacauga Alliance for Family Enhancement (SAFE), Little Caesars, Jacks, Grace Memorial Chapel, Service Printing, the Sylacauga Chamber of Commerce, the Sylacauga Police Department, and the Sylacauga Housing Authority .
