SHA Board of Commissioners Elects New Chairman and Vice Chair

The SHA held its Annual Board of Commissioners Meeting on April 11, 2019. The Annual meeting serves as an opportunity for the Board of Commissioners to review the annual plan, five-year plan, budget, and capital fund program. This additional meeting also serves as an opportunity for the Board of Commissioners to elect new leadership.

Board Member Patrick Lozito was elected Board Chairman. Commissioner Lozito is a recent addition to the Board of Commissioners and brings with him a wealth of experience in property management, real estate development, and social work. Alma Jean Cook was elected to serve as the Vice Chair of the Board of Commissioners. Commissioner Cook is the SHA Resident Commissioner and has served on the Board of Commissioners since February 2017. Commissioner Cook provides vital experience and knowledge from a resident’s perspective.

Regular Board of Commissioners meetings are held at our Central Office Building at 10:00 am on the third Friday of every month. At the conclusion of each meeting time is reserved for public comments.
